Type: Consultancy
TRL: 4

First, the powder flow in simplified configurations (prototypes) will be studied both experimentally and numerically in order to calibrate the material parameters involved in the numerical model. Validation will be done by comparison, with their numerical counterpart, of the experimental granular flow and the resulting averaged concentration distribution in different sections of the prototypes. Then, the simulation of the industrial filling process will be carried out and its results compared with measurements obtained during production.

Information

We offer a simulation service that helps to predict metal powder segregation during the manufacturing process. Our simulation software is based on open-source technology and can be customized to fit the specific needs of our clients. The simulation service includes the assessment of segregation patterns and their effects on the final product. Our team of experts works closely with clients to ensure that the simulation results are accurate and reliable. For more information about our simulation service and its capabilities, please contact us.

Use

During the trial period, users can simulate the segregation of metal powder using our tool by inputting the relevant parameters and running the simulation. The tool employs advanced algorithms and mathematical models to simulate the segregation process and provide users with detailed results and insights. The simulation results can be analyzed and visualized to gain a deeper understanding of the process and identify areas for improvement.
